Bob Teesdale
Bob's career in music spans four decades and has taken him all over North America. As a teenager, he was fortunate to have had the opportunity to know and travel with jazz legend Duke Ellington, who became his inspiration to learn the piano and to write his own music.
He received formal training at Philadelphia’s University of the Arts, where several of his compositions were performed by award-winning ensembles. He performed at various venues and recording studios, television and radio shows in Philadelphia and New York before moving to Los Angeles and Western Canada. He performed with his band in the Canadian Rockies for eleven years where he recorded his first CD of original music. Many of Bob’s award-winning songs including “River in the Sun”, “Dancing with Strangers,” and “Til I’m Holding You,” received airplay across Canada and the U.S. as well as Europe.
Bob then moved to Nashville for twenty years as a singer/songwriter. There he released his second CD of original material, “Before the Dawn”, which is available online at iTunes, CD Baby, and Tarnius Music.com, where his hits “Sixty’s the New Forty,” “Baby Loves Elvis,” and “Precious Moments” have all held top ten spots for most downloaded songs. Bob was the Musical Director at the Center for Spiritual Living in Nashville from 2008 to 2011, and at the Sarasota Spiritual Living Center until 2022. As a member of the Positive Music Association, his song “I Am Reminded” was honored as one of the top positive song videos in the country, which can be heard on YouTube.

In 2011, Bob returned to school to complete his bachelor’s degree in music and philosophy at Middle Tennessee State University and, in 2014, he earned a Master of Arts Degree at the University of North Carolina in Greensboro. He is currently writing, recording, and producing original music, while performing his solo act and with his band at country clubs, yacht clubs, hotels, and restaurants along the Suncoast of Florida.
Bill Bower – Saxes, flute, vocals
Bill got an early start in music in his hometown of Reading, PA, at the age of eight. By fifteen, he was playing with local bands at events and parties. After a year at Penn State, he realized his true passion was music and was mentored by George Young, from whom he learned much of his unique tone and technique. After university, Bill qualified for the U.S. Army band, and won the Third Army Entertainment Contest at Ft. Lewis, WA. Upon his discharge from the service, he traveled the Northeast U.S. with his group, The Jet Set. Then he joined the Kirby Stone Show, touring the U.S. for five years. In 1981, he joined the Sam Butera big band, and called Las Vegas and Atlantic City home for the next ten years.
In the Nineties, Bill finally settled in Florida, along with a host of friends and other great musicians who have also moved here, playing music at all the top venues in the state. Together, Bill and Bob have been performing for three years, appearing at the Grille at 1951, in Port Charlotte, the Wyvern Hotel, the Venice Yacht Club, the Pelican Pointe Country Club, the Bonita National Golf Club, and many other private clubs and parties throughout the area.
Don Mayer - guitar
A native of Philadelphia, PA, Don Mayer has played guitar professionally since graduation from high school. He was signed by CBS records with the band Libra shortly after that. Traveling the country, he has toured with singers Simone , Mary Hawkins, and the Coasters to name a few.
Don studied guitar with jazz great, Pat Martino, and now shares his knowledge and skill with his many local and online guitar students. He continues to perform with us at various clubs, restaurants, and parties throughout Southwest Florida.
Kim Nakach - vocalist
Kim started her music career at a very young age. She comes from a musical family in Altoona, PA. Her grandfather and mother were both musicians. Kim began her musical journey with singing in chorus at school as well as the church choir. Then she went on stage with the leading rolls in all of her high school musicals, performing in Carousel and Bye Bye Birdie.After high school, she hit the road with English pop music singer, Julie Grant and the band, Crystal Vision.She has performed at Jazz Singer Toni Bishop’s Playhouse Café, in Sunrise, Florida, and other venues in Miami Beach. Currently, you can find Kim performing locally with Bob and with other bands in Southwest Florida at local restaurants and clubs.
